Care Log is a small, focused tool for community care workers in Ireland — built so that the people who look after others don't have to spend their evenings doing paperwork.
The story
My sister works as a community care worker in Ireland. After a full day of visits, she'd come home and spend another hour or two copying mileage and times by hand into HSE forms. I built Care Log over my holidays so that wouldn't be her evening anymore.
What it does
Care Log records visits, mileage, tasks, notes and signatures during the day, then turns those entries into the monthly visit log and mileage claim that the HSE and most agencies in Ireland ask for. It runs on any phone, tablet or laptop — there's nothing to install.
Who it's for
Solo community and home carers, family carers, and small care teams. It's especially useful in Ireland because the report formats match what agencies and the HSE actually request.
Pricing
Care Log costs roughly €36 per active user per year — that covers hosting, the database, AI features and the domain. Donations go directly to lowering that cost for other carers and to building the next features.
Privacy
Data is stored on EU servers with row-level security. Only you and the admins of your team can see your visits. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time. See the privacy policy for details.
